Often told he has a "unique voice", Peter's specialty is bringing the human element into everything he writes.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Peter now resides in Naperville, Illinois with his wife Wendy and two young Matthew and Nicholas.

My Story

A published author and writer since 2008, Peter was schooled and trained in the art of writing through various courses at Roosevelt University in Schaumburg, IL. during his journey to a bachelor's degree in psychology. He further honed his skills by receiving two writing diplomas from the Long Ridge School of Writing.

The Four Corners, a Sicilian Story, is Peter's first full length novel. This fiction tale is a memorable, true-to-life, prohibition-era, gangster story, with unforgettable, relatable and likable characters, starring the charismatic and powerful Big Pete Carissimo. The Four Corners is published by KTF Press, and is available now -- just go back to the main page of this website.

In 2012, Peter's fiction short story, of the same genre and characters as The Four Corners, called Lucky Says Hello, was published by MuseItUp Publishing. This story is the sequel to the full length novel. Lucky is currently available for just $1.25 on Amazon. Besides being a fiction author, Peter is also a published freelance writer, specializing in sports. He has been published several times on the web-magazine the Bleacher Report featuring stories on the New York Football Giants and the Professional Bowlers Association.

From February of 2011 through March of 2012, Peter was a lead writer for the print publication Sports Life Magazine. He authored numerous feature stories for each issue, specializing in one-on-one interview pieces.

Peter is also a book reviewer for the New York Journal of Books. He has published several reviews since December 2012. You can find all of his reviews on the NYJOB website.
